With over a decade of experience in social services and community mental health, Rishi specializes in supporting individuals navigating complex trauma and grief. He works with adults to cultivate deeper meaning and a greater sense of connection, both internally and to the world around them. Throughout his career, Rishi has remained acutely aware of the privilege of walking alongside clients during the most pivotal moments of their journeys.

Bringing a non-judgemental and collaborative spirit to the therapeutic space, Rishi holds a deep belief in every individual’s innate capacity for healing. He is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and integrates ego-state and “parts work” to help clients process their history. Additionally, he uses Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills to help clients regulate their nervous systems both within and outside of sessions. At the heart of Rishi’s practice is the conviction that an attuned, supportive relationship is the essential foundation for growth.

Rishi received his Master’s in Counseling from Adler University in 2011. He joins the CCIH team after more than 10 years of dedicated service in community mental health. To support his own sense of grounding and connection, he enjoys immersing himself in music, tending to his plants, and spending time with his cat.
