Meditation is one of the oldest, most reliable ways to bring forth calm and ease, helping to shift the overwhelming thoughts, feelings, somatic imprints left behind by trauma. It is an important component of the BSE skills. Unfortunately, finding inner quiet can be complicated for someone with a difficult history. Deirdre has also developed a website focused on meditation skills specifically for those with a history of trauma: meditation-ptsd.com
