Carol believes in the healing capacity of every person, and the universality of the desire to heal our woundedness and grieve our losses. She does this in a collaborative manner based on agreed-upon goals and at the client’s own pace and readiness for integration.
Since 1990, Carol has been offering a compassionate and safe space for her clients within a therapeutic relationship. She has worked with adults, couples, and families in a variety of settings.
Having joined CCIH when it was founded in 2011, Carol currently focuses on body-centered psychotherapy combining Sensorimotor Psychotherapy principles, along with mindfulness-based practices, energetic touch, guided imagery, and breathwork.
She participated in the Level I and II trainings in the Treatment of Complex Trauma through the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute of Boulder, CO. She received her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University (Chicago) and her Bachelor’s of Science Degree from the University of Notre Dame.
